CHEF DE PARTIE

Salary: Up to £27,500

Hours of work: Straight shifts up to 52 hours a week

Location: Dalhousie Castle & Aqueous Spa, Bonnyrigg, Midlothian

We are looking to appoint a Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team of eight delivering outstanding cuisine in our two restaurants and busy function outlet. The role will involve delivering food to company standards, maintaining and rotating stock levels along with business on books, maintaining a high standard of hygiene in both personal and work area and following all food safety procedures. You’ll have the opportunity to bring ideas to the plate to further advance the food offering at the castle. We are looking for someone who works well as part of a team and strives to help others and with experience working in a busy kitchen.

HOUSEKEEPING SUPERVISOR  

Salary: £10 per hour

Hours of work: Part-time, 20 hours per week

Location: Dalhousie Castle & Aqueous Spa, Bonnyrigg, Midlothian

As Housekeeping Supervisor you will oversee the team and take responsibility for the housekeeping department in the absence of the Head Housekeeper. The role will include daily cleaning of bedrooms, bathrooms and public areas to the required standard within the time frame set out by the company. You’ll be required to perform stock checks and replenishment of consumables as well as communicating closely with the maintenance team to facilitate a smooth and enjoyable guest experience. You will need to be aware of and comply with statutory requirements regarding the work place such as health and safety, hygiene, fire prevention, manual handling and chemicals and other substances that may be hazardous to your health.

SPA BEAUTY THERAPIST  

Salary: £9.76 – £10 per hour

Hours of work: Part-time, 16 hours per week

The successful applicant will have previous experience in a high volume and high standard similar operation, hold a Beauty Therapy SVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification and possess excellent massage and skin expertise skills. You must be confident, professional and able to work on your own initiative, providing massage, facial, manicure, pedicure and waxing services to the highest standard, adhering to all company policies on health and safety.
